Summer Music Workshop

Each summer students have the opportunity to participate in a week-long string intensive workshop. This workshop is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day with a final performance at the end of the week. The workshop takes place at Lindenwood University’s Scheidegger Center for the Performing Arts. It is open to students with a minimum of one-year experience on violin, viola, cello or bass. There are two groups that students are sorted into by audition, an intermediate group and an advanced group. During the week students will be able to work in a large orchestra setting as well as chamber ensembles. They will also be able to participate in technique and enrichment classes with highly trained faculty. There are opportunities as well to have private lessons with the faculty throughout the week. For more information or to apply click the learn more button below to visit the workshop website.
